Patio Restaurant, Albuquerque, Romantic Lighting Image - O'Niell's Irish Pub

O’Niell’s is a daytime, dinnertime, anytime patio restaurant, something the Irish used to call a public house. At O’Niell’s, real folks and their families get together to “make it Irish” with a simple formula: Good Food, Honest Drink.

Good food translates to top quality versions of the lunches, dinners, and appetizers that you know and love, fun new alternatives, and some classic Celtic favorites. We also have teamed up with Defined Fitness to produce healthy meal options. For our vegetarian friends, we offer various dining options to suit your dietary needs.

Honest drink is the perfect pint and the perfect pour, all delivered with exceptional service. It’s old country quality in a sophisticated but friendly atmosphere. We also offer honestly good deals, celebrating happy hour specials twice a day, every day.

Our founder, Rob O’Niell, sees his namesake as more than just a restaurant: it’s a community, drawing neighborhood folks, businessmen, nonprofits, musicians, artists, and all other kinds of interesting characters together to share their passions and have a great time, all while sharing a delicious meal. Rob O’Niell built O’Niell’s from scratch, constructing the bar top and chairs with his own hands, defining the attitude as “serious fun.”

Good food, honest drink, and great times… that’s how it feels at O’Niell’s. Our patio restaurant has two Albuquerque, NM locations, both in Heights and Nob Hill, and it was voted Best Dining Patio in town by Albuquerque The Magazine readers. Stop by either location for a tasty favorite, to try something new, or to enjoy one of our happy hour specials. With a cover over the patio during the winter months, you’ll be able to enjoy the outdoor atmosphere all year round!

Our Founder

Rob O’Niell doesn’t remember when he started to live by the “No sniveling!”motto, but we’re betting he picked it up during his 14 years on an Alaskan fishing boat. We know it came in handy when he started his own business from scratch, and when he and his brothers built the flagship O’Niell’s board by board. Now it defines the O’Niell’s attitude, which you could call hard work with a smile, but we call serious fun.
